Indicator Bacteria

Faecal coliform sampled three sites (at the outfall and at beaches to the north and south of the outfall satisfy the criteria for primary contact recreation (MHL769 1997).

Biological Communities

At the time of writing no marine ecological assessment of Kianga outfall appeared to have been undertaken.
